Sodalite

Communication Harmony Trust

Sodalite contains a great deal of sodium, and was thusly named “Soda” or salt, and “lithos” – the term for stone in Greek.

Sodalite is quite young in gemstone years. The deep blue mineral gemstone was not discovered until 1806, when it was found in Greenland. Large sodalite stone deposits were found at this time in Ontario, Canada. Other sodalite mineral stone deposits have since been found in Brazil, India, Namibia, Russia and in Montana in the United States.

Sodalite energy is all about logic, truth and inner peace. Sodalite is known to bring about a sense of calm, facilitating logical thinking.
