Celestite

Celestite

Peace • Clarity  • Divinity

Celestite, also known as Celestine, is a delicate blue mineral containing strontium. Its name comes from its color, that of the pale blue of the sky – the same root as the word “celestial.” It has a strong historical association with heaven, the angelic realms, and divinity.

The Celestite crystal is a symbol of peace. It is believed to open one up to mental clarity, and assist in resolving conflicts in relationships. It gives a sense of greater openness to new experiences, even if it seems out of our comfort zone.

Celestite is found all over the world, major deposits exist in Libya, Egypt, Peru, Britain and Poland.
